Quietly nestled in the grounds of the caravan park with completely private enclosed surroundings and close to the banks of the River Swale, Swaleview Cottage is a fully refurbished cottage providing complete ground floor accommodation for up to 6 guests. Furnished and decorated to a high standard, the cottage has spacious bedrooms; the benefit of both a bathroom and a shower room and a light and airy conservatory room with a dining table. Decking to the rear of the cottage can be accessed via the conservatory and overlooks the fields and views beyond. The caravan park is quiet and has a play area for children along with the river banks- perfect for a spot of paddling.

Where to visit...

The historic market town of Richmond, with its authentic Georgian Theatre, 11th Century castle, cobbled market place and Georgian streets, make it a haven for visitors. The Old Station has recently re-opened, incorporating a two-screen cinema, Seasons Restaurant, shops offering local produce, and regular crafts and art exhibitions. Wensleydale also offers a wealth of activities and places to visit from Leyburn's market place shops; Serendipity, Buzz and The Teapottery to Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, you are guaranteed a wonderful day out.

Richmond is also within easy reach of the spa town of Harrogate, and the historic city of York. Harrogate has a vibrant town centre, with tasteful designer shops, a Turkish Spa and Baths, and is the home of the original Bettys Tea Room, which is renowned for its delicious afternoon teas and pastries. We had a great time in the cottage at Swaleview,meeting up with friends and having beautiful weather, we were able to site see in the area which was stunning.We especially enjoyed the luxurious cottage with each room furnished to a very high standard.Everything we needed was at our fingertips.A great long week-end,one we will definately be doing again.
